Welcome Youtubers! My name is Billye Turgeon-Bélisle, and I am a student at Ahuntsic College. I study in Youth and Adult Correctional Intervention, and it is my second year in the program. For those who don't know what this program is, I am going to explain it briefly. We take courses in Criminology, Law, and everything related to delinquency. We learn how to help people who struggle with delinquency or those around them. We will be technicians who work in prevention of delinquency and in social reintegration of delinquent individuals. With this program we can work as an agent in prison, a youth center worker, or we can work in a community sector like with itinerant, drug addicts, alcoholics, etc. In this field, we may meet plausible challenges such as preparing for a job interview. Today, I am going to show you a great way to help you do that.
Like you, I don't want to fail my job interview because of a lack of preparation. Everyone wants to do well on their job interview to put all the chances on your side.
I am not the best student in my class, but I am doing pretty good in my courses.
I have already been hired at the youth center for this summer. They have recently opened a new job for those who do not have yet their diploma, and I got the job!
My goal is to demonstrate how to use the virtual writing tutor to help you prepare for a job interview.
It'll only take 3 to 5 minutes. Watch this to the end and get ready to follow my tutorial, you won't regret it!
You'll be surprised to see how much that website can help you!
Let me explain the problem. After graduation or even after your second year in the program, you will have to do job interviews to be hired where you want to work. You will have to be prepared for those to be hired.
If you don't prepare for your job interviews, you can fail them and not get any chances of working where you want to.
For example, suppose you go to a job interview in a Youth center, and you didn't prepare, they can ask you questions you don't know the answer to, and answer something to fast, and not thoughtful.
That can be stressful. But don't worry. I know a solution that will solve your problem in few minutes. I'll show you exactly how to prepare for this, and I am going to show you now.
First, open your browser. Type this URL (virtualwritingtutor.com) into the address bar and click enter. You are supposed to see this page.
In the top left corner, you have the logo of the site. In the top right corner you have 4 icons. Those are the app you can use to share your work done on the site. Then, you have this blue bar with the navigation menu. Then, there is a white rectangle below that where you can write a certain text and on the top of the rectangle there are the options in blue. Those are the options you can use to check your text.
In the blue bar at the top of the screen, you will see the icon Writing tools, click on it. Then, you will hit the Job Interview Script Creator button. Now you have a video tutorial to help you understand how to do it, and you also have examples right here. Once you are there, you can type the name of the job. Then, you click on the button new job. When you arrive at this page, here in the first rectangle, you have to write your job's domain, and you save it. Then, below that you have all the questions you need to prepare for your job interview. You just have to click on each question, then click on the icon with the pen to type your answer to each question. Then, you type your answer, you can click on the check grammar button to see your errors, and then you save it. So, you do that to every question and when you are done you go up the screen in the top right corner and click on publish / HTML. After that, you have to click on the button new tab, and it will open another page with your title and the robot. Now you just have to click on the microphone and ask your question. The robot will respond with the answer you put just before that.
So, if you are in Youth and Adult Correctional Intervention or a related field, that is how you solve the problem of the preparation for a job interview. I promised I would show you how to prepare for a job interview, and I did it using the website Virtual Writing Tutor.
