My name is Nayla, I am a College Ahuntsic student in the Social Science. This is my third and last year in this program. This field is mainly focused on psychology on how to communicate with others, how to understand people, basically a study that deals with human behaviour in its cultural aspects. I have learned so much and so much more to come I hope!

As students, we all know how important it is to get good grades to build a future. All we want is to give our full academic potential to get the best opportunities and the career we always dreamed of. But unfortunately, it is not that easy, and we meet difficulties and obstacles all the time.

I am not the best at English and it has been really hard for me to learn the terms in my program but I've gotten a lot better and thanks to Virtual Writing Tutor for helping me improve my English.

Despite all my excitement and my motivation with this program, I feel a little bit overwhelmed and stressed about all the new terms that comes with it that I don't know about. During the semester, we need to be able to understand and apply the vocabulary really quickly to keep up the courses.

If my teacher gives me a certain type of context during an exam and I don't understand some of the vocabulary, I will automatically not be able to answer the question and this can be a huge problem.
Even when they give us a book to read, if you don't understand the grammar you won't be able to understand the whole subject.

But fortunately, I have found a good solution for this problem. In this video, I'll show you how to learn your vocabulary faster and be able to refer to them every time that you will need to.

First, what you will have to do, is to open a new tab in your browser and type writing tutor.com in the address. Then, you will see this logo in the top left corner of the screen. The first step is to create an account, in the top right corner of the screen you have to create an account then to login. That way all of your work on the website will be automatically saved.

When you are done with creating your account, at the top of screen in the middle you click on writing tools. A list shows up, then you can click on glossary creator and a new page appears. At the top of the screen in the middle, you will see a video tutorial and examples that you'll probably need to watch to do the glossary. On the right-hand side of the screen you can begin with the writing a title to your glossary. You will have to give a topic and write an introduction. After all of this, you can finally start, add all the words that you seem not to understand.

Now that you have finished your personal glossary, you can come back anytime when you need it!
