How to use Virtual Writing Tutor?

Introduction

Hi, everybody! My name is Tatiana and today I will show you how you can use an excellent online grammar checker for free.
I have been studying Computer Science for 3 years at Ahuntsic College.
The Computer Science program is vast and covers a wide range of IT technologies. My specialization is Web and Mobile Programming. This field of study provides students with the skills to develop applications for various platforms. It includes both front-end and back-end development, emphasizing the programming languages, frameworks, and technologies essential for creating responsive web and mobile applications.
Graduates can continue careers as web developers, mobile app developers, software engineers, or systems analysts, with opportunities in tech companies, start-up's, and freelance roles.

My goal is to show you how to improve your writing skills in a short amount of time.

It will only take a few minutes, so please stay tuned until the end!

The Problem

I would like to be a full-stack developer, which is essentially someone who creates new features for various applications and programs. In this role, I will need to write a lot of documentation, such as reports and technical descriptions.

To ensure that developers and my colleagues recognize my good work, I need to document everything correctly.

For me, it’s always a challenge since English is my fourth language.
Today, I will show you how to use the open-source website Virtual Writing Tutor to avoid grammatical errors and improve your writing skills.

Let's begin my step-by-step guide.

The Quest

Great, let's open the website. First, open your browser. At the top of the screen, type the URL Virtual Writing Tutor dot com into the address bar and hit "Enter." If you typed it correctly, you would see this page.

At the top of the screen, you will see a logo and the navigation menu, which provides access to all the different sections of the website.
On the right-hand side, you can see the link to login. It's very simple to create a new account if you don't have one. Having an account gives you access to additional tools.
In the middle of the screen, there is a text area where you can write the text you want to check.
Just under the text area, there are various buttons, such as the microphone and speech options, which can help you practice your pronunciation or hear the correct pronunciation of a word.
At the right, there is a scroll bar that takes you to the bottom of the website.
In the bottom right corner of the screen, there are some icons for social media if you want to share this site.

The Solution

Now, I will show you the solution to the issue I mentioned earlier.
To ensure your text is error-free, simply copy it and paste it into the text area in the middle of the screen.
Click the "Check Grammar" button to see any grammar mistakes.
It will show you the word count, the number of mistakes, and calculate the error density.
In this case, you can see that I don't have any grammar mistakes.
This site is also useful if you're unsure about how to pronounce a word. Just type it into the text area and click the speech button to hear the correct pronunciation.

The Conclusion

So, I promised to show you how this site works for the best way to correct your grammar to maintain credibility with your colleagues and effectively present completed work, and I did.

Thank you for watching! I hope you will find this tool useful.
