The purpose of this glossary it's to help students who would like to pursue their study in sexology to know some words that could be helpful for this field of study. However, if you're here because you were curious about some words about this field, you're still in the right place! This glossary contain 20 words that I chose and that I think would be an important part of the vocabulary commonly used in this field. Each of these terms are used in the sexology domain, including their proper pronunciation, definition and examples of how to use them.
abortion

the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy.
Example: My sister had an abortion two years ago.

noun
The fact or practice of restraining oneself from indulging in something.
Example: I started having sex again with my ex boyfriend after two years of abstinence

sexual activity involving penetration of the anus
Example: My husband talked to me about trying anal sex for the first time.

asexuality
noun
the quality or characteristic of having no sexual feelings or desires.
Example: One of my close friend doesn't want to explore her sexuality because of her asexuality.

A term for a variety of sexual practices including bondage, discipline, domination/submission, and sadism/masochism.
Example: My girl friend was curious about trying bdsm for the first time.
bisexual

Sexually attracted not exclusively to people of one particular gender; attracted to both men and women.
Example: He might be bisexual.

Either of the two soft, protruding organs on the upper front of a woman's body that secrete milk after pregnancy.
Example: This women had a breast cancer and fought it

Example: His castration was originally performed with the purpose of saving his life.

Example: A lot of things happen during the childhood.

chlamydia
a very small parasitic bacterium which, like a virus, requires the biochemical mechanisms of another cell in order to reproduce. Bacteria of this type cause various diseases including trachoma, psittacosis, and nonspecific urethritis.
Example: The doctor must give a prescription for this chlamydia.

The surgical removal of the skin covering the tip of the penis.
Example: The circumcision happened verry well.

Those who identify as the sex they were assigned at birth.
Example: Being cisgenre is something that you knew since you were born.

A small, sensitive, erectile part of the female genitals at the anterior end of the vulva.
Example: The clitoris is composed of multiple parts : the glans, the clitoral body, the paired crura and vestibular bulbs

An oval or round object laid by a female bird, reptile, fish, or invertebrate, usually containing a developing embryo.
Example: This women's eggs seems good for the reproduction.

The inability to get and keep an erection firm enough for sex.
Example: Some mens could have erectile dysfunction during their life.

The faculty or activity of imagining things, especially things that are impossible or improbable.

Example: A lot of factors can cause fertility, like stress or anxiety.

When someone is only attracted to people of the same gender.
Example: Being gay in this generation it's more acceptable then before.

The branch of physiology and medicine which deals with the functions and diseases specific to women and girls, especially those affecting the reproductive system.
Example: I would take an appointment to go see my gynecologist as soon as I can.
