Welcome YouTubers! My name is Abdoulaye, I'm studying paralegal technologies at Ahuntsic College in Montreal. I've been in this program since the beginning of 2018 fall semester. I'm actually on my third and last year of the program. Paralegal Technology is a program that makes the student able to proceed with documentary and computer research of laws, regulations, case law and doctrine that can fuel the treatment of a legal problem. I applied to study law on the university next, in order to become a lawyer. Some people will probably ask me why I chose this program over Social Sciences if I'm applying to University. In fact, it's to gain more experience in this field of study because in the last semester there is an internship and I wanted to make sure that it's a field that I really like. I'm actually on the internship in a law firm and working alongside lawyers helped me to learn a lot.

Some field of studies requires to have good reading and writing abilities and sometimes you will notice that some words are only used in a particular field of study.

You need to have professional behaviour and use the right words when you communicate with colleagues or clients.

Perhaps, this field of study require a lot of drafting of documents tasks like formal notices, contracts or quests to institute proceedings. Today, I will show you a way to solve a field related problem by using the writing tools available on the Virtual Writing Tutor website.

That can be difficult. But don’t worry. In the next few minutes, I’ll show you exactly how to solve this problem and learn a lot of fields related words quickly.

The first step is to open your browser and type in the address bar the URL, TheVirtualWritingTutor.

In the top right corner, you can use these icons if you want to share this website on social media.
In the middle of the screen, you will see this text area to write what you need to be corrected.
On top of the text area, you will see the navigation menu.
If you scroll down the page you can see a lot of informations about this website

Here is how you will create your field related glossary.
You will need to create a profile in the virtual writing tutor. In the navigation menu, click on profile and create yours.
Click on the top to add a new tab and write in the address bar the URL for Wikipedia.
In the search area, write your field of study, select some of the texte and copy it.
Go back to the virtual writing tutor tab and paste the select text in the text area in the middle of the screen.
On the top right of the text area, you will click on the check vocabulary button.
Your related field of study words will be organised.
