accounts receivable

Money owed to a company by its debtors.
Example: It's too many accounts receivable.

Accruals
noun
The accumulation or increase of something over time, especially payments or benefits.
Example: All debts must be frozen with no further accrual of interest.

Assets
noun
Property owned by a person or company, regarded as having value and available to meet debts, commitments, or legacies.
Example: Growth in net assets.

Audit
noun
An official inspection of an individual's or organization's accounts, typically by an independent body.
Example: Audits can't be expected to detect every fraud.

Bookkeeping
noun
The activity or occupation of keeping records of the financial affairs of a business.
Example: I got in a financial muddle because I didn't keep my bookkeeping up to date.

noun
The total amount of money being transferred into and out of a business, especially as affecting liquidity.

The postponement of the date that an expense already paid or incurred, or of a revenue already received, is entered in the ledger.

noun
Financial statements are written records that convey the financial activities of a company.

noun
A book or other collection of financial accounts of a particular type.

A thing for which someone is responsible, especially a debt or financial obligation.

Available money on hand to pay bills when they are due and to take care of unexpected needs for cash.

outstanding Check
noun
A check that has been written by the drawer and deducted on his or her records but has not reached the bank for payment and is not deducted from the bank balance by the time the bank issues its statement.
Example: He gave me an outstanding check.
