This glossary is about work vocabulary or terms. My name is Andréanne and I will be heading in Visual Arts next year. My dream is to have a career in 2D/3D animation. My glossary is meant to be presented to my teacher, Ms. Priscille.
Animated cartoon

A film made by photographing a series of cartoon drawings to give the illusion of movement when projected in rapid sequence.
Example: Kids generally love to watch animated cartoons on the television.

Apprenticeship

An apprenticeship is a system of training future members of a workforce within a specific industry. Apprenticeships typically include both on-the-job training and studying.

Freelancer
noun
A professional who is self-employed and works independently for one or multiple companies or clients. Freelancers generally set their own payment rates and work schedules.

Internship
noun
An internship is a temporary position with an emphasis on on-the-job training rather than merely employment, and it can be paid or unpaid. If you want to go into publishing, you might have to take an internship before you are qualified for an actual job.
